At CarStolenCheck, we aim to provide accurate and timely vehicle information. We understand that sometimes issues may arise. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you may be eligible for a refund on paid reports.

Free Service

Our basic stolen car check is provided free of charge. No payment is required to run a standard stolen vehicle check, and therefore no refunds apply to the free service.

Eligibility for a Refund on Paid Reports

You may be eligible for a full refund of your purchase under the following conditions:

  • Non-Delivery: The vehicle history report is not delivered to you via our platform or email within 48 hours of your successful payment.
  • Incorrect Information: The vehicle data delivered is proven to be materially incorrect for the registration number you provided. Discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of purchase, and supporting evidence (such as a photo of the V5C logbook) may be required.

How We Source Data

We source our vehicle data using official DVLA records, DVSA MOT databases, and police database records including the Police National Computer. We continuously work to ensure the data's accuracy and reliability. Our data guarantee covers factual inaccuracies in the information we provide.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team at help@carstolencheck.co.uk with your order number and a detailed explanation of the issue. For claims of incorrect information, please include any supporting evidence.

Our team will review your request and get back to you within 24-48 hours. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
